Scrapbooking paper and washi tape cupcakes

Hi folks! How are you? Can you believe it's almost the end of January already? To me it feels like it's gone so fast!

Now, I have a question for you: what should I do with these cupcakes?

They are wooden shapes that I've decorated with paper and washi tape, covered with a layer of modpodge. They are meant to be a bunting set but ... I just don't know. Is bunting the best option?

They are about 5"x5" so they are bit big for brooches (always my first idea ~_^) - although I would totally like to wear them! ^_^ Please use the comment section to tell me your suggestions! You know I love to hear from you ^_^

I also have been crocheting a bit to make a convertable fingerless glove to mitten ... thing.

It's not particularly good looking, but it is warm and the mitten flaps do seem to work well.

It's the first of a pair for my Nana Alma, but I want to check if it's going to fit her hand properly before I make another one!

What have you been working on? ^_^

I'm not a huge fan of bunting.

What about putting letters on them and spelling out something, like EAT ME(one letter on each) or something like that? Oh and then you could put them in a frame or something? anyway, cuuute!

Yay crochet! haven't seen much of that around here lately :O

Oo, Tanya I love that idea.
I was just going to be boring and suggest coasters.

Love the cupcakes. I would stick a little wooden peg on the front and use them as fridge magnets to hold little notes, vouchers, receipts, etc.

Mittens are cool too!

You have been so busy and put me to shame.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I kinda wish I had more than six now, so I could do all of your ideas! ^_^

P.S. Tanya, I have been crocheting, but just granny squares which are kinda boring to post about! >_< But I do have some other crochet projects planned - stay tuned! ~_^
